Lucknow : In a heartwarming display of integrity and efficiency, Lucknow Metro once again proved why it’s not just a means of transport, but a symbol of safety and responsibility. On Tuesday, a black bag containing Rs 46,000 in cash, clothes, and a mobile charger was found on board a metro train. Thanks to the alertness of the staff and the strong Lost and Found system, the bag was safely returned to its rightful owner at the Amausi Metro Station.
The incident underlines the growing trust passengers place in the Lucknow Metro, especially when it comes to the security of their belongings. The station controller, after following due verification procedures, ensured the bag was handed back to the relieved passenger. The commuter, grateful for the swift action, praised the sincerity of the metro staff and expressed heartfelt thanks to the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation.
Sushil Kumar, Managing Director of UPMRC, commended the honesty and professionalism of the Lost and Found Cell. “Lucknow Metro has consistently upheld the values of integrity and responsibility. Our service stands out as safer, more comfortable, and more efficient than other modes of public transport,” he said.

With such incidents becoming part of a growing list of success stories, Lucknow Metro continues to raise the bar for public transport across the country—not just in terms of connectivity, but in delivering safety and peace of mind to its daily commuters.
